3 Ways of Using Aloe Vera Gel to Hydrate Skin

Aloe Vera is one of the best organic ingredients to use for skin and hair care. The plant has numerous healing properties that make it ideal for use in medicinal and cooling purposes.

The long, succulent leaves of the aloe vera plant contain a thick jelly-like substance, which primarily consists of water. This gel is full of essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals that can make skin healthy. You may already have used aloe vera to treat minor cuts, abrasions, and sunburns, but it can also help you deal with skin problems.

OTC products that claim to contain aloe vera gel are derived from the plant. With over 420 different plant species, the aloe vera gel we use on our face is derived from the Aloe barbadensis Miller plant.

Conventional medicine may incorporate aloe vera gel as a topical treatment straight from the leaves, but over-the-counter products may be more convenient for some.

How To Use Aloe Vera Gel:

With summer coming up, it's time to rejuvenate and hydrate your skin to keep it protected.

One way you can do this is by using Allurials' 100 percent natural aloe vera gel. Incorporate it in the following skin packs for glowing skin:

Aloe Vera and Cucumber Mask:

If your skin looks dull and bummed out, use aloe vera gel and cucumber slices to treat it. Add them to a blender along with a few drops of lemon juice and blend well.

Apply on your skin and leave the pack on for 20 minutes before rinsing. Regular use will promote hydration and bouncy skin that feels soft to the touch.

Aloe Vera, Honey, and Banana Mask:

Banana and honey are considered natural moisturizing agents that can provide a pretty glow during the summers. If you are prone to sweat and your skin suffers from excessive oil production, this recipe is for you!

Mix honey, banana, and aloe vera gel and apply to your face with gentle circular motions.

Leave on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing for a smooth, supple face.

Aloe Vera and Olive Oil Mask:

This face mask is for our dry-skinned girls who suffer from cracked skin even in the summer.

Mix a small amount of olive oil and aloe vera gel and leave it on your face for an overnight application. In the morning, you'll wake up to soft and smooth skin that's fully hydrated.
