Why goat milk is great for your skin
Even though our goat milk lotion is one of our best selling items, specially formulated to give clients the best skin possible, we’re big fans of goat milk in general. This is why we’re sharing other popular recipes that you can try at home, in order to incorporate goat milk into your skincare routine.
Some of the following can, in fact, be done with our goat milk lotion as a base, since it’s also a natural product. If using goat milk in its raw form, be sure to get organically sourced milk, which is free from added hormones and preservatives.
1. Goat milk cleanser
Sounds crazy, right? Well, it’s not! Goat milk has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which are excellent for acne-prone skin. Wipe away your makeup and other residue and use goat milk to cleanse your face in the morning and at night. It’s sure to give you smooth, moisturized skin.
You can top it off with some organic Aloe Vera gel, which you can get from our store. Use our body lotion for the rest of your body for the same benefits.
2. Goat milk exfoliant
For this, you’ll only really need two ingredients, both of which can be used on your face and body:
- Coffee grounds
- Goat milk
Mix the two to form a paste and massage your face in circular motions. You can use it on the rest of your body as well. Coffee, too, is great for your skin. A natural, gentle physical exfoliant, it’s perfect for smooth, supple, firm skin.
Wash off and top it off with the goat milk body lotion and some or try our carrot oil for your face skin—which can also be found in our store.
3. Goat milk face pack
Use goat milk with some oatmeal, honey—it sounds like a meal, true—but it’s excellent for your skin too. Blend all the ingredients into a fine paste and leave on your face till it dries. Cleanse thoroughly and top it off with a moisturizer like our organic Aloe gel, or carrot oil, and seal in the moisture.
Goat milk should become a regular part of your skincare routine for all its benefits. If you’re not quite ready to use raw goat milk though, try out our body lotion and it might help you make a decision.
